Low Angle View of Shoes

Looking good doesn't usually come cheap. Having to buy loads of different styles is just the start. Then, you have to think about accessories for each of those styles. At the end of this, the bank will never be happy. And, this is why it's important to look for accessories that work for all of your styles; not just one. Usually, this will just be a case of choosing items that can be both formal and informal. But, you might need more. So, to help you out, this post will be going through three accessories to help you start looking for options that suit everything you already own.

1. Shoes. Shoes are usually the hardest part of this. There are loads of different styles available and you will need different options to match the different clothing you have. For this are, it's best to go at it with a plan of attack. You should choose four different types of shoe to buy, basing the options you choose on the items you already own. A pair of trainers, tall boots, high shoes, and smart shoes will usually do the trick for most people. But, of course, you might want to get a couple extra. It's best to look for items that suit as many of the outfits you have as possible and then, when you buy clothing in future think about the shoes you own beforehand. Otherwise, you could find that you need to buy more shoes.

2. Jewellery. This next area is a little easier. Jewellery comes in loads of different styles and forms. But, you don't need that many items to have a good set. Like shoes, most people will be able to get by with just a set for normal wearing and a set for formal events. The items you choose will be based on your budget. But, things like handmade pearl jewellery can be perfect for big events, where you want to impress and semi-precious stones can be good for everything else. If you have a specific image of what jewellery you want there are brands which allow you to design your own jewellery these days. Most people build their collection over their entire life. So, you don't have to get everything now. Instead, it can be better to invest in an item at a time

3. Bags. Being a handbag addict myself this is a hard one to recommend but I guess its easy if you don't have the constant desire to buy handbags. Bags are an essential part of an outfit especially because otherwise we'd carry everything in our hands. Like anything else in fashion you can go for so many designs, sizes and colours but keeping it simple is the key to having a handbag that matches with most outfits. Black cross body bags are always the safest and simplest choice to make in this department.

There are loads of other small accessories you can get to go with your outfits and when you're accessory shopping you keep in mind one thing; what you already have. It's best to avoid buying new things because you've bought something else and have nothing to go with it. We know this results in unreasonable splurging and a bad habit of 'buying everything I see'. Hopefully, this gives you a good idea of what can be done if you want your items to be used more than just once.
