How old were you when you started wearing makeup?
The first any kind of makeup made it onto my face I was around 13 years old. Back then by makeup I meant eyeliner on my lower lash line and that's it. Not necessarily a good look but I was into it so much that I had eyeliners in every colour imaginable.

How did you get into makeup?
I remember getting to a point were I felt so insecure about the way I looked and my eyes were always the feature I liked most. Enhancing my eyes with eyeliner was subconsciously a way of attracting my attention to my eyes and so automatically I would feel better. However, I was still unhappy with my skin, which always was problematic, so eventually I desperately wanted to cover that up. That is how I got my first foundation. Then one thing led to another and doing makeup was the favourite part of going out and got me interested in getting to know more about it and experimenting.

What are some of your favourite brands?
It's very hard for me to pick one brand because I like trying a lot of different brands. In general, though, I can say I have different favourite brands depending on the category of makeup. Here's a list;
Foundation - Rimmel London
Eye shadows - Sleek
Mascara - L'Oreal
However, as I said I do have favourites from other brands but, for instance, if I want a good mascara I know L'Oreal is the first place to go to.

What does makeup mean to you?
Growing up I had a lot of negative comments about my appearance some of which left a huge impact creating several insecurities. Makeup was a way of gaining control over those insecurities. Also, learning on my own to do it so well is something I take a lot of pride in and getting positive comments about it means a lot. It is also another canvas for me to be creative and try new things.

If you could only four products on your face, what would they be?
This is one of those answers that probably changes every month or so. Right now I would probably go for the Maybelline Eraser Eye to cover spots or potentially instead of a foundation, L'Oreal Mega Volume Miss Hippie Mascara, Sleek Face Contour Kit in light and Maybelline Matte Lipstick in Enhance. Natural and defined look.

What is your favourite thing about makeup?
Applying it. Since I started wearing it to this very day, applying makeup is always the best part of my day. I enjoy taking my time and trying new things and then later talking about them here or on my Youtube channel. It's the perfect me-time.

Drugstore or High-end makeup?
It depends. I don't necessarily think that high-end is better and if you take a look in my collection the biggest part is drugstore. Also, when it comes to taking risks and trying new things I'm more likely to do it with drugstore products. While I tend to look at high-end products as investment so I do prefer to research and read other reviews beforehand.

What is the one makeup trend you never understood?
The extremely light under-eyes. Adding a bit of highlight is nice but having your under-eyes two shades lighter than the rest of the skin is something I don't quite get.
