A Magic Potion for Hair | L'Oreal Professionel Mythic Oil

I rarely talk about my hair products simply because they tend to change quite frequently and I never feel quite attached to anything. My hair is pretty good with a lot of different products, thankfully, so I do not always see massive differences when I switch shampoos. At least not differences huge enough that I consider life changing. However, there is one product that I've been meaning to talk about for months because it is great and it is has been a staple in my hair care routine for the past 6 months.

I am talking about the L'Oreal Professionel Mythic Oil. First of all discuss the packaging. It is by far the cutest packaging I've ever seen for a hair product. It's a dressing table kind of product. Vanity aside, the product itself is magical.

The two main components of the product are avocado oil and grape seed oil. Avocado oil has strong moisturising impact on dry, brittle and damaged hair. The moisture from this oil is absorbed from the scalp and hairs and improves the condition of your hair. On the other hand the Grape Seed oil prevents any moisture loss. In other words the moisture provided by the avocado oil is preserved my the grape seed oil.

My hair is not dry or damaged it is simply too voluminous which makes it easily knotty. This product not only prevents that but also keeps my hair in perfect condition in between washes. Since using it I have not had a 'dull hair day'. Benefits are definitely seen over time and you can tell that the hair itself is healthier.

Application: There are various ways you can apply this. I apply it after I wash and towel dry my hair to the ends of my hair. It can also applied when the hair is dry and as many times as you want but this should be at your judgement depending how dry your hair is. Personally, that one application is always enough. In situations when I know I'm going to use heat in my hair (which is very rarely), I do not apply this any time before I do this. The reason behind this is that I don't like applying heat on oil because it can be quite harmful. In this case I apply it after I style my hair.

In terms of quantity, one pump always is enough for me but again, this all depends on the condition of your hair and thus is at your judgement.

Cautions: I would be very cautious using this product if you have oily hair. I praise this product for the moisture strength that it has due to the oils mentioned. This might not be particularly helpful if your hair is already oily. Obviously I have no proof of this so go ahead and try it if you want to see what it would be like.
