Face Mask, Sanctuary Spa, Lush, Nuxe, Body Shop, Clay Mask

Through the years I have tried and tested countless face masks at different price points. Very few make the cut, five of which I always have to have in my stash.

Before I get into which ones they are I have to clarify that I have got sensitive skin and that is why very few make the cut. It is very hard to find skin care products that my face approves of and when I do, they are treasured as gold. Remember that everyone's skin is different and what applies to me might not apply to you.

In no particular order, here they are.

1. Sanctuary Spa Covent Garden 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask.
I went through multiple tubes of this but I just need to have it. It is a clay mask and once you apply it the charcoal warms up giving the most soothing sensation ever. It's ingredients, like Glycerin and Sweet almond oil, help purify the skin and avoid blemishes. This is particularly great for people with oily, combination and/ or blemish prone skin.

2. Sanctuary Spa Covent Garden 5 Minute Radiance Peel-Off Mask.
Another Sanctuary Spa product because the masks are that good. Unlike the first one this comes out clear and has a smooth, cool texture. It is suggested that this is not applied on dry areas of the skin and around the eyes. You leave this on for 5 to 10 minutes and then peel off. It leaves the skin feeling very fresh and clean for quite a while. Also I've had a couple of compliments the next day telling me that my skin looks fantastic. Isn't that what we all want?

3. Lush Mask of Magnaminty.
This is a face and body mask but I only use it for my face. With ingredients including Glycerine, Peppermint oil, Marigold oil and honey, this product fights blemishes and cleans the skin deeply. Apply for 5 minutes and then scrub before washing off. The peppermint aspect of it will revive your skin and leaves a smooth, fresh and radiant look.

4. The Body Shop Tea Tree Face Mask.
This product is made from natural ingredients which is even more beneficial for the skin. I like using this product especially in the warmer days because when on the skin it cools and gives a refreshing feeling. It also helps fight blemish outbreaks and benefits are seen when once used multiple times. If you have blemish prone skin give this a go.

5. Nuxe Soothing and Rehydrating Fresh Mask.
Last but not least a Nuxe product. Nuxe have quite an amazing skin care range so it is not a surprise that one of the top 5 masks is theirs. Although it is made for all skin types this is specifically beneficial for oily and sensitive skins. It hydrates and relaxes the skin relieving any redness or tightness. The application for this is a bit different because after applying and leaving it on for 10 minutes you can massage the excess into the skin rather than washing it away.
