Blogmas Day 22 | Nails Look 3

Monday, 22 December 2014
This one today is actually the one I will be having on Christmas Day because I loved it so much and can't wait to re-do even better.

1. A layer of base coat to protect your nails.

2. Two coats of a wine red colour and leave to dry properly. (I used the Barry M Nail Paint in Raspberry).

3. I applied a very thin layer of a fine, dark gold glitter (Marks&Spencer Golden Shimmer). Before applying I made sure that the bursh was as dry as possible to have few glitters. Then I appliex it starting from the cuticle towards the tip.

4. Using the same golden shimmer polish, this time I appliex more on the cuticle. Then I wiped the excess in the bottle and with a dry brush I dragged the polish from the cuticle towards the tip. The creates a glitted ombre effect.

5.  When all was dry, I took a gold glitter nail polish but this time the glitter was more yellow and a bit bigger (different sizes). I took all of the excess off an then dabbed the glitter onto the nail focusing on the cuticle.

6. Finally, I finished with a top coat which helps to protect as well as blend everything in nicely
