Blogmas Day 19 | Christmas Nails 3

Friday, 19 December 2014
This Christmas I went a bit crazy on the nail 'art' and was not very happy with the plain look.  This is the third of the Christmas nail-situation.  Not only good for Christmas but also very nice for New Year's Eve parties.

First thing I did was the standard coat of base coat and followed with two coats of the Barry M Nail Paint Matte in Vanilla.  Then I took the Art Deco Glam Stars topcoat, a pinky, silver toned glitter and applied it on the tips of my nails as if applying a french Menicure.  After that dried, I took the same nail polish and every time before using it I made sure that I removed the access and had a close to dry brush.  Once that was achieved I dabbed it over the upper 3/4 of the nail to obtain the 'falling glitter' effect.

This is a very Christmasy effect that would look nice over other colours too like nude pink, reds and blues.  Of course to achieve this nail look you don't need the exact same products that I used but the following ones;
a base coat
a lilac-grey nail polish
silver glitter nail polish (not so fine)
a top coat
